Item Description

An OLD-TIME, very rich and showy combination specimen from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine. Finely reticulated, snowflake, cerussite crystals artfully cover one side of the specimen. The matrix is SOLID, banded, botryoidal smithsonite of various colors and as you can see, the back is the VERY HIGHLY DESIRABLE, apple-green color varietal. Yes, there is contacting on the back, but this is a very fine and highly representative Tsumeb combination piece from the upper oxidized zone of this renowned locale. Comes with a handwritten old label in German.
