Cerussite on Bayldonite ps. Mimetite (old - rare)

Item Description

This is a very old and rare, classic Tsumeb combination pseudomorph from the 1st oxidation zone, circa early 1900s or even the late 1800s. Scattered cerussite blades rest on the solid crust of the rare mineral bayldonite, which has replaced mimetite crystals. The bright apple green crystals have retained the mimetite crystal form. The color, rarity and cerussite association overcomes the damage to some crystals (visible in the photos), so this is still quite displayable from several angles!
