Cerussite on Barite

Item Description

Sharp, lustrous, translucent, "smoky" colored, well-formed Cerussite crystals sit atop somewhat iron stained orange bladed Barite crystals which make for a nice small cabinet sized display specimen. The piece is in good shape, and the crystals, although small are actually rather gemmy in areas. This locality is well known for its Vanadinite specimens, but has produced some very attractive Cerussites over the years. A decent representative specimen of this classic and distinctive material from Mibladen.
