Item Description
An old-time cerussite specimen from the limestone quarries at Wulfrath. This is a solid jackstraw miniature of adamantine luster cerussite blades with a partial coating of iron oxides. That's blue tack on one side and an expert cleaning would certainly enhance the piece. A very rich and rare specimen in this quality from the Freiberg Academy Collection. The older label undoubtably dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s.
