Item Description
Adamantine, lustrous cerussite crystals solidly fill all sides of the vuggy, thin gossan boxwork matrix on this showy and classic old-timer from the famous Ems District of Germany (world renowned for pyromorphite). Cerussite specimens of this richness and size are very seldom on the market. Very rich lead ore and valuable! Hefty for its size at 266 grams. Comes with an expertly handwritten, faded label from an older collection. The collection this came out of was a museum stash dating to prior to World War I.
