Item Description

A rarely seen specimen of classic lead minerals from the famous Leadhills of Scotland. Fine, sharp, gemmy, white / colorless crystals of Cerussite measuring up to about 2 mm are sitting on silvery-grey colored Galena with soft yellowish-green colored Pyromorphite on matrix. The fact that the piece has a specific mine listed is what makes it so desirable, as pieces from the Lady Anne Hopetoun shaft (Lady Ann Mine) are virtually impossible to obtain on the market these days. A great opportunity to add a cool association piece to a secondary ore collection, or a suite of Leadhills minerals.
