Cyclic-twinned, tapered "bullet" cerussites are a desirable Mibladen classic and this is a very fine and aesthetic combination small cabinet from the Orellana Collection. An impressive, 2.8 x 2.7 x 2.2 cm, glassy, lustrous, translucent, smoky-brown crystal with dense stepped-growth faces is aesthetically set on the "mother" galena vein festooned with smaller cerussites and nicely accented with contrasting hematite-tinted barite blades. The large cerussite also has a striking resemblance to a Mayan flat-topped stepped pyramid! Choice and excellent combination material. The cerussites have bright rich yellow fluorescence.
