Item Description
Classic and showy large cerussite and barite from famed Mibladen. Cyclically-twinned, glassy, translucent cerussite crystals, to 2.2 cm and an isolated rosette of oxide-tinted barite blades are aesthetically set atop the mounded plate covered oxide-tinted barite blades. A rich sprinkling of tiny corroded galena crystals and smaller cerussites on the barite blades are a nice contrast and typical accessories. Yellow cerussite fluorescence. Ex Bob Reynolds Collection. Bob is a well-known fossil and mineral expert and Curator of the San Bernardino County Museum. A sculptural and excellent large combination of the species from the noted locale.
