From the storied locality of Touissit, this is an attractive and classic twinned crystal of Cerussite..but of unusual shape! Tan-white in color, the excellent luster is paired with the often-seen, internal, fibrous shimmer that can be mesmerizing in person. This 3.7 cm crystal has a substantial, twinned arm, and the early development of multiple twins along its length is fascinating to see, and adds a great deal to the character of the Cerussite. And the way it sits upright on the matrix completes the excellent aesthetic. These specimens are no longer being produced, and they truly represent some of the most distinctive and eye-catching Cerussite specimens around. Note: Orientation is important here - this choice specimen can be considered either a small cabinet or a large miniature.
