Item Description
This is a complete cyclic twinned cerussite of considerable size and visual impact, especially considering it is up for auction at no reserve. It is complete and sharp all around, showing all faces. It has minor encrusting dolomite as microcrystalline sparkle atop some parts of the crystal. While unusual, this does not detract visually - it just makes the piece oddly sparkly. The overall luster is classic adamantine, that unique shine a good cerussite can have. it is heavy! This is classic material from the 1960s or 1970s. Valued $1500-2000
