It is aesthetic and unusual at the same time! Honey-colored with just a hint of grey, the gemmy, well-formed blades have an excellent, adamantine luster. The twinning of the Cerussites, the first step in reticulation, is dramatic and elegant, yet simple. The shimmery, silky edges on many of the crystals providing a strong visual accent to the forms. Interestingly, the Cerussite has a fluorescence that ranges from a soft, golden tint to a muted orange, or some combination thereof, depending on whether it is SW or LW.
