Item Description

This is a gorgeous and super-lustrous Cerussite specimen from the Les Dalles Mine in Morocco that has produced many clusters of complex, translucent cream colored pieces such as this. It is an excellent small cabinet sized piece from the finds here a few decades ago and it consists of multiple, brilliant adamantine lustered Cerussite crystals between 2 and 3.5 cm, all in parallel growth. The larger crystals seem untwinned, and elongated, while smaller crystals upon them seem to be twinned. They are so lustrous that they scintillate with ANY incoming light and just sparkle! The lovely translucent cream color adds to the aesthetics of the piece! It is an impressive and attractive specimens and one of the better ones we've had in its size class! It fluoresces bright yellow under long wave UV!
