Item Description

Broken Hill is one of the great world localities, and did a great deal for the overall prosperity of Australia. Cerussite from Broken Hill are some of the most beautiful examples of the species. This specimen features beautiful sharp, translucent, "dogtooth"-shaped crystals of Cerussite on matrix. These specimens are becoming next to impossible to obtain in today's market. Keep in mind that the majority of these specimens were mined approximately 60 years ago. A very atypical Cerussite from Broken Hill, and a worthwhile piece to round out a Cerussite suite or a collection of Broken Hill specimens.
