Item Description
Likely from the Bertha shaft of the Neue Hoffnung Mine in Bleialf (referred to in early days as Eiffel), this is a very fine cluster of intergrown Cerussite crystals. These tan crystals sit beautifully above the small plate of matrix, and their excellent, adamantine luster really enhances the tan color. The longest of these crystals is an impressive 3.6 cm, and there is even some twinning. There is a very old label included with this fine German specimen, which was #10,930 in Kay's collection.
