CHOICE example of one of Tsumeb's most recognizable and coveted specimens, its reticulated twin Cerussites. This has the classic shape, classic luster, and such a nice balance. And of course, the excellent twinning has developed into a terrific 'Snowflake' Cerussite form that exemplifies this material as it was found in the 1960s, and indeed see the (for her, relatively low) low catalog number in the 24000's. Large at 7 cm across, with blades up to 4.6 cm, the excellent luster and translucent-to-gemmy interiors characterize the quality of the bladed crystals. Very simply, this habit is one of the most aesthetic forms around, and this small cabinet piece is an excellent example - one of the best we have seen in the size class, in fact. Even better in person. Such pieces should easily be valued $5000 plus.
