Cerrusite and Dioptase

Attractive and unusual combination from the well-known Christoff Mine in Kaokaveld. The crystalline Cerussite has an excellent, highly reflective waxy luster and a deep grey color. There are six Dioptase crystals intergrown with the Cerussite, and the Dioptases have beautiful color, excellent luster, and are gemmy to translucent. The largest Dioptase is .8 cm long, and though it is broken off at the base, the termination is perfect. The Cerussite actually has a heart twin that is 1.1 cm in size. Overall, and unusual and rather amazing combination piece.
