Item Description
This rare combination piece is exceptional not only for the rarity of the Celestite and the combination with the Calcite, but for the Celestite itself. Most often you see the Celestite in lustrous small spheres, but you almost never find Wessels Celestite in tabular crystals. These superb crystals are partially GEMMY, have an excellent light blue color, and mirror-like luster. The largest of the crystals is about 3 cm long. Combine them with fluorescent, unusually shaped Calcites up to 2 cm long, and you have an exceptional, aesthetic piece that is both rare and pleasing to the eye.
