Item Description
This piece simply came with a small hand-written tag that stated it was from "Kentucky", and since we're not experts on Kentucky minerals, if anybody out there has info as to a more specific locality where this piece might originated, please let us know. With that said, this cracked geode is filled with "sprays" of pale blue to white prismatic crystals of Celestine associated with iron-stained rhombic crystals of Dolomite associated with minor pale lilac "Amethystine" Quartz. A beautiful combination of colors and crystal forms.
