Item Description
Here is a tight divergent spray of something highly unusual for Brazil! Bladed, honey-yellow Celestite crystals from Brumado, Brazil with minor amounts of bright turquoise colored Agardite-(Ce). Neither of these species are mentioned in MINDAT from Brumado and I'm guessing with this piece having both Luis Menezes and Alvaro Lucio labels that it was of few substantiated pieces found by Luis at the locality back in the day. The Celestite blades are thin and average about 8 mm wide and 4 cm long. The Agardite-(Ce) occurs as one, elongate, bumpy, botryoidal elongate group and there are several single, tiny, less than 1 mm spheres nearby. A very rare piece indeed from both Brumado and Brazil!
