Item Description

Striking intergrown radial sprays of glassy, water-clear, gem celestine prisms with textbook chisel terminations are complemented with sulfur on this impressive, very rich and showy combination from an unknown sulfur mine in Sicily. The dramatic, variably-sized celestine crystals reach about 3.3 cm. In great shape, overall, with very few broken crystals in the interior, for all the crystal density. Ex Bob Reynolds Collection, a well-known fossil and mineral expert and former Curator of the San Bernardino County Museum. He passed away in 2020. Classic, very rich gemmy celestine with sulfur from Sicily.
