Item Description

This obscure Pb-Zn deposit has been worked since the 1950s and is well-known for celestine specimens. However, specimens are rare and are seldom on the market. This impressive large and sculptural geode is richly and attractively lined with glassy, water-clear to transparent, colorless celestine crystals to 3.8 cm (doubly terminated). Fields of sparkly, terminated, drusy quartz crystals are a fine accent to this excellent and uncommon large specimen from the Paco Gutierrez Collection. The piece displays very well without aid.
