Item Description

This striking and rare combination specimen features a 5.5 cm, sharp and sharply terminated, translucent, color-zoned blue-gray to colorless, celestine crystal dramatically capped by a headdress of terminated, parallel-growth, glassy, translucent, gypsum blades. Celestine and gypsum combos are extremely rare from this obscure Mexican locale, where pieces came out in the late 1960s, with none since. Complete all-around and pristine. Ex Consie Prince Collection to Dave Stoudt Mexico Collection # 1127. Possibly unique material from this locale.
