A classic, dramatic and sculptural large celestine from this well-known Mexican locale. Striking parallel-grown, spearpoint-shaped, tabular, celestine crystals with dramatic sawtooth edges aesthetically diverge at the top with multiple terminations. The very glassy, highly lustrous crystals are water-clear to translucent. The beautifully placed 4 mm purple fluorite cube is a classic and typical accessory. Formerly in the Scott Williams Collection, a prominent USA dealer in the 1940s to 1960s. The piece probably dates to the 1960s to 80s. He passed away in 2020. Essentially pristine, with only a trivial bruise at the tip of the spearpoint. An exceptional, large, older 360-degree celestine from the Tule Mine at Melchor Muzquiz.
