Item Description

A rare aesthetic combination from this from this Devonian-aged Michigan sandstone quarry, where specimens, in general, are very uncommon. Two generations of drusy calcite cover a striking, sharp, upright, 4.0 cm celestine crystal, smaller celestines and part of the matrix. The translucent celestines are an ice-blue. Excellent and rare material from the Robert Nowakowski Collection.
