Item Description

Stunning, water-clear, tabular, very light blue celestine crystals with sharp beveled edges fill a geode lined with hematite-tinted celestine on this exceptional specimen from this remote country. The fabulous large crystal is 2.2 cm tall. Mineral specimens of any species are rare from Turkmenistan. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and purchased from the Mineralogical Research Company in 1989. They obtained the piece from the Fersman Museum Collection, according to the label.
