Celestine is one of the few species that Texas has produced excellent crytallized examples. This sculptural and aesthetic piece is from the well-known Central Texas locality of Bull Creek in Austin. A 2.5 cm, sharp, glassy and translucent, blue-gray crystal with a white core and nifty flat termination is jauntily set on the Cretaceous limestone matrix. Pieces of this quality are seldom on the market.
