Lustrous sulfur crystals and numerous glassy, colorless, celestine crystals with chisel terminations are richly and aesthetically scattered on this impressive, large and elongated specimen of mounded spherical aggregates of lustrous, translucent dogtooth aragonite crystals from the famous sulfur mines at Agrigento. A very fine large two-sided combination piece, that is essentially pristine. Pretty pastel-pink aragonite fluorescence. Choice material from the Bob Trimingham Collection and previously in the Al Ordway Collection.
