Classic, showy and rich large celestine from the famous Sakoany deposit of Madagascar. The sculptural vug is filled with beautiful, gemmy, very glassy, rich ice-blue prisms. The three upright crystals with classic textbook chisel terminations are about 3.5, 2.8 and 2.5 cm tall. All of the crystals in the interior are essentially pristine, with only trivial contacting or bruising. The noted periphery wear is certainly acceptable in the context of extracting these geodes .Ex Bob Reynolds Collection, a well-known fossil and mineral expert and Curator of the San Bernardino County Museum.
