Celestine specimens are rare from any of the five localities, that MINDAT lists for the Mapimi area. Intergrown, glassy, translucent, deep ice-blue blades have nifty serrated terminations on this impressive and very uncommon specimen from the Bob Trimingham Collection. A striking 360-degree specimen, nearly pristine, with only minimal periphery wear and two very lightly bruised terminations.
