Rare, impressive parallel-growth celestine crystals from this obscure mine located near Mapimi. Celestine is rare from any locality in Durango. The two stout intergrown crystals have strikingly different chisel terminations, translucence, lustre and pretty variable ice-blue color. Complete all-around. The terminations are nearly damage free, with only trivial scuffing. Contacting lower on the sides is noted, but there is little actual damage. A high quality 360-degree Mexican rarity from the 1960s to 80s and comes with a Collector's Choice label (Dalton and Consie Prince). Ex Consie Prince Collection.
