Item Description
An oddball specimen of Celestine from a remote an obscure locality in Kazakhstan. This piece is from the Aral Karakum Desert in Kazakhstan, situated northeast of the Aral Sea. It borders on the Syr Darya river to the south. The desert covers an area of 40,000 square kilometers. Razor sharp, GEM quality, thin, tabular crystals of pale grey-blue colored Celestine measuring up to 1.3 cm aesthetically sit atop the underlying matrix.
