Celestine is quite uncommon for this district, and this unusual fan shape is from a one-time pocket. The white (with just the slightest blue cast) Celestines are in a large fan composed of thin, delicate needles. The luster is almost waxy, creating the feeling of solidity and depth. Mined in 1995, this is quite good, and has an aesthetic appeal all its own. A superb Illinois specimen! valued $500
