Item Description
Mineral specimens of any species are RARE from this obscure Michigan quarry. An imposing 4.8 cm, sharp, tabular, celestine monolith is dramatically set in the sculptural, blocky matrix. The sharp, lustrous, translucent crystal is gray to straw-yellow and has the classic chisel termination. The celestine is essentially pristine, with only the most trivial of termination edge rubbing. This is a fantastic and rare specimen with striking 360-degree visual appeal. The base has been sawed to enhance the considerable aesthetics. Choice and rare material from the Robert Nowakowski Collection. Ghostly white fluorescence. A MUST for the locality or species collector.
