Item Description
A dramatic and classic, large combination piece from the Machow Mine - elegant, gemmy, sharply terminated celestine crystals to 3.0 cm are richly and attractively scattered in sprays and as single crystals on the 3-dimensional upright mound of massive sulfur. This striking piece displays beautifully from three sides; and for the large size and crystal density, has very few broken crystals amidst all. Ex Stoudt Collection. Dave lived and worked in Poland for a number of years and bought the specimen there directly from miners who collected it. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base (valued at $150), for free. Valued at $1000-1500 for size and beauty, this is a rare combination in this quality on the market nowadays.
