Very rare, perhaps UNIQUE, old-time large celestine from a most obscure Ohio - Moss Island in Lake Erie. A striking fan of lustrous lamellar celestine blades dramatically covers the large limestone matrix plate. Comes with a faded century-old label. Ex Philadelphia Academy of Sciences Collection. This historic and rare old piece is a MUST for the species or locality collector!
