Celestine (ex Willard Wulff Collection)

A beautiful and sculptural specimen of Celestine from the Maybee Quarry (Scofield Quarry). Hundreds of notably sharp, lustrous, well-formed, GEM/gemmy, prismatic, soft blue crystals of Celestine measuring up to 8 mm cover both sides of this large display specimen. This is a really showy cabinet and great overall specimen from this locality. This specimen comes from the collection of Willard W. Wulff (1904-1998) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a prominent figure and collector of Colorado minerals. Wulff was one of the founding members of the Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society in 1936. Very little damage at all, and great quality for the species and the locality.
