Celestine ex Jack Halpern Collection

Sakoany Celestines are considered to be among the finest of species in the world, and for very good reason. As with this great, small cabinet piece, the best of the Celestines are a light, steel-blue color, have sharp form, and are GEMMY. These Celestines come from glittering pockets of glassy crystals within isolated vugs (think of geodes), and it is no mean feat to remove these clusters safely and without damage. These crystals have such a glassy luster that they look as if they were cut and polished. The main crystal is 2.7 cm, and the pristine nature and superb aesthetics make it stand out from the average and available quantity out there. To even try to show just how how good these main crystals are, I've given you photos taken against black, against white, and in video - yet none truly do this piece justice. It is an order of magnitude better in person.
