Item Description
Although uncommon as a species, Celestine from Wessels has traditionally taken the form of beautiful and lustrous curved crystals that form very attractive clusters. Rarely do you find the more traditional Celestine crystals similar to what you might find from Michigan or Madagascar. Of those from Wessels, this may very well be the best I have seen. This doubly-terminated, complex 'spearpoint' has superb luster, good light-blue color, and is gemmy to translucent. The multitude of faces makes it look almost like a crystalline spine, and one end is particularly well-developed. This is an excellent and aesthetic miniature.
