Item Description
A striking, sharply terminated, tabular water-clear celestine crystal from this obscure locale. Two of the edges have classic chisel terminations. Half of the crystal is a very hard to see, pretty light blue and the bit of internal crazing adds much character to this very fine and uncommon specimen in this quality. It looks like a baryte blade, but it's not. The small bruise on one edge and contacted edge with no damage, per se, are noted, but have negligible impact to this excellent quality of this piece. Material of this quality came out in the late 1960s, with very little since. Ex Robert Nowakowski Collection.
