Item Description

Glassy, transparent to translucent, ice-blue, celestine crystals to 1.7 cm are richly scattered on the matrix plate with a myriad of smaller, glassy calcite crystals on this showy and attractive large combination plate from this well-known Ontario quarry complex. The celestines have fine color and classic chisel terminations. The back has been sawed to enhance the display quality. Ex F. Wank and Art Soregaroli Collections.
