Item Description
I have not seen Celestine with this particular habit (fine blades rotated through spheres) anywhere but Wessels, and within Wessels these specimens are rare. The silver-blue Celestines have a resplendent, pearly luster, with the largest of the two balls on top being a full 8 mm across. These rest on two gemmy and lustrous Calcite rhombs, which in turn rest on more Celestine matrix. The architecture of this combination is incomparable. An killer thumbnail for both aesthetics and rarity.
