Item Description

A good combination piece from Nchwaning. The bladed Celestines, for the most part, taper to a fine point, and they uniformly have good luster and partial gemminess. They appear very much like jackstraw Cerussite in habit, and range up to about .7 cm long They are interspersed with about a dozen sharp, lustrous, and gemmy Calcites that are up to about 1.2 cm long. The plate of matrix appears to be Manganite with possibly some intergrown sulfides. Good aesthetics, and a very good specimen for the species from this famous mining district.
