This piece came to us labeled only as coming from Chihuahua, Mexico, and I can't say for sure if it's from the Mojina Mine or possibly Naica. If anybody out there has some information regarding the origin of this piece, please let us know. This small cabinet features lustrous, bladed, medium blue colored crystals measuring up to 2.6 cm which are partially "frosted" on the outside edges with a semi-selective deposition of Calcite. The front / display side of the piece is in great shape and the only real damage is on the base / back where it was removed from the pocket wall. Very attractive in person.
