Item Description

Two fine, textbook-sharp and well terminated crystals cross each other on a balanced matrix, on a nicely sized display specimen from this classic Michigan locality. These came out in the early to mid 2000s and set a new standard for the species from a USA locality. The crystals are 5 and 7 cm, respectively, literally formed like textbook crystals from a book reference for crystallography - something this find was famous for. It is undamaged and in fine shape. The matrix is composed of smaller crystals on limestone.
