Item Description

Black, sub-metallic, well-formed crystals of cechite (Adelite-Descloizite Group) with quartz and earthy iron oxides in a vugwithin a coarse-grained carbonate matrix. Josef Vajdak collection and label. Must be viewed under a microscope to appreciate. Josef was one of the leading experts on Czech mineralogy and the mineral Vajdakite is named in his honor. This is form his personal collection which we purchased some years ago. VERY rarely seen for sale! Value???
