Item Description
A beautiful and sculptural cave Calcite specimen from Santa Eulalia featuring branching groups that comprise two generations of Calcite growth. The lower portion of the piece is the first generation and is a soft chalky white hue, while the second generation features gemmier and more lustrous Calcite crystals of a pale golden hue. The piece is rather arborescent in form and looks beautiful from several angles. There is no major damage that I can see with the naked eye, but a few small dings can be ssen. If you collect worldwide Calcites or minerals of Mexico, these now hard to find cave Calcites are a must have for their elegant visceral beauty and attractive generational growth.
