Cavansite with Calcite on Stilbite

A pair of fine quality radiating aggregates of rich blue Cavansite with DOZENS of sharp, lustrous, golden Calcite on Stilbite on matrix. The largest Cavansite group mesaures 15 mm across. No damage, and a very showy piece of the beautiful and often under appreciated material. The piece is just LOADED with Calcite rhombs, which is fairly rare in my experience with the material. The Calcite is a good indicator that this piece is from an older find (about 15 years ago), as I have not seen any Cavansites from contemporary discoveries with any Calcite rhombs like this piece. The best Cavansite specimens in the world come from this locality, and if it wasn't for Wagholi, very few people would even recognize Cavansite as a species. These specimens may be plentiful now, but eventually this locality will no longer produce these specimens, and they will become very difficult to find on the market, making them a valuable and worthwhile species for collectors.
