Two, aesthetically set, lustrous, bladed, tiffany-blue cavansite balls to 1.9 cm are beautifully accented pearlescent stilbite blades on a plate of basalt covered with smaller stilbites. Contemporary classic material of excellent quality from the famous Wagholi Quarry of India. This very fine piece I obtained in a large trade from the Steve Smale collection. Steve is renowned for his taste, aesthetics and lack of specimen damage. He never collected less than very high quality material. Valued at $500-700.
