Cavansite on Stilbite

A daisy-chain nearly 4 inches long, of beautiful, top-colored, lustrous cavansite balls winds its way elegantly down this attractive and large matrix plate. This piece, at 759 grams, is of good size and makes for a somewhat unusual display compared to the normal cavansite style we see so often. Such long clusters, in such consistent coloration, are really quite rare even amongst the thousands of specimens mined at these quarries over the last decade or so. To my eye, this one really stood out from the crowd when I bought it perhaps 2 years ago, from a table full of others. Pristine, and more colorful in person I think. Valued $2500-3000
