Cavansite on Stilbite

A gorgeous, 2.8 cm, ball of lustrous, royal-blue, cavansite blades is jauntily set on starkly contrasting snow-white crust on basalt matrix on this excellent and very aesthetic specimen from recent finds at the famous Wagholi Quarry of India. Some people call this type of white crust stilbite and some call it mordenite. We have not had it analysed. Either way, this a is classic and striking Wagholi cavansite specimen. This fine piece would add color to any collection.
